Starwood Hotels and Resorts will debut its premium ‘The Luxury Collection’ brand in Tokyo later this year with the opening of The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho hotel.

Situated in the heart of the neighbourhood of the same name, guests will be well-connected across the city from the Akasaka Mitsuke rail station with popular entertainment districts Ginza and Shinjuku a 20-minute ride away.

Welcoming travellers from June 2016, 250 guestrooms await, as will a signature bar on the 35th floor with two-story floor-to-ceiling glass windows offering promising views of the city outside.

As you’d expect of any luxury hotel, a spa and fitness centre will too be available, along with a business centre, 272 square metres of function and meeting space and a Club Lounge for guests staying on the Club floors.

Joining that is an all-day dining venue on-site and further food options within Tokyo Garden Terrace, including a bistro-style French restaurant.

“Responding to the strong growing demand for distinctive and refined hospitality experiences, The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho will enliven the luxury hospitality landscape of Tokyo,” said Lothar Pehl, SVP Operations and Global Initiatives for Starwood Hotels and Resorts Asia Pacific.

Shigeyoshi Akasaka, President of Prince Hotel, adds that “the demand for luxury hospitality continues to be on the rise in Japan, especially as Tokyo prepares to host the 2020 Summer Olympic Games and the Paralympics.”

Members of the Starwood Preferred Guest loyalty program can earn and redeem points at The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho hotel, which joins three existing Starwood group hotels in Tokyo.
