St. Regis' first Australian hotel is coming to Melbourne in 2022
More luxury is set to fall into the lap of Melbourne with the announcement of the St. Regis Melbourne hotel, to open in 2022 at the CBD's triple-tower Flinders Bank development .
This will be the prestigious brand’s first foray into the Australia market, with the St. Regis Melbourne joining a portfolio of more than 40 other properties worldwide.
Situated near Southern Cross Station – a handy location for catching the Skybus to Melbourne Airport – the development will also 650 private apartments and 2,100 square metres of retail space.

Hotel guests will find themselves relaxing in one of the 168 opulently-appointed rooms overlooking the Yarra river or CBD skyline, set within ten of the 33 levels planned for the Flinders Bank’s second tower.

A range of speciality suites will be available as well, described as ‘fit for presidents, sheiks and other VVIPs’.
The rest of the building will comprise of residential apartments, with owners able to purchase Marriott Club membership to access the hotel’s pool, sauna and sundeck.

The hotel promises ‘highly attentive personal service’ for each guest with the St Regis butler service, along with ‘refined food and beverage experiences’, although there are currently no details on what dining establishments will feature within the new complex.
