New United Club lounges for London Heathrow T2
United Airlines has provided a sneak peek at the new United Club lounges slated for London Heathrow's Terminal 2, which as of June will be home to all of Heathrow's Star Alliance airlines.
The US carrier will shift its London flights to T2 – which also goes by the name of The Queen’s Terminal, in honour of Queen Elizabeth II – from June 4.
There'll be both a United Club and United Global First Lounge, sharing a combined footprint of around 22,000 square feet.

Both have been developed around the United Club concept already seen in the airline's Chicago, Seattle and San Diego lounges, and will be United’s first international lounges sporting the new look.

Totalling around 2,000 square metres (22,000 square feet) in area, the lounges will feature floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the airfield plus the usual creature comforts such as shower suites, complimentary food, beverages and Wi-Fi.
United will be one of four Star Alliance airlines operating lounges at T2 – also in the mix are Lufthansa (which will operate the main Star Alliance lounge), Singapore Airlines and Air Canada.
