Etihad Airways’ business class and first class passengers travelling through Abu Dhabi can now unwind in a new Premium Lounge in Terminal 1.

With seats for 134 guests, the lounge’s modern design takes its cues from the airline’s larger and also recently-revamped Premium Lounge in Terminal 3 – both of which are open 24/7 and offer travellers dedicated dining areas, free wireless Internet access and both AC and USB power outlets to recharge their gadgets.

Joining that is the Six Senses Spa, and much as in Terminal 3, passengers here can also book 15-minute treatments at no charge, with separate shower facilities offered to all guests along with a separate playroom for children and comfortable armchairs in which to relax as you await your flight.

Etihad’s Abu Dhabi Premium Lounges welcome passengers travelling with Etihad in business class and first class, with Virgin Australia to Sydney in business class, and Platinum-grade members of Etihad Guest and Virgin Australia Velocity prior to Etihad and Virgin Australia flights.

First class passenger on Etihad will also gain a dedicated first class lounge when renovations of the existing facility have been completed, while new Etihad lounges are also planned for Melbourne, Los Angeles and New York.
