SkyTeam alliance member Delta Air Lines now offers inflight Internet access on all flights between Sydney and Los Angeles: the airline’s sole Australian route.

Passengers can pre-purchase a Delta Global Day Pass via the Gogo website at a cost of US$28 (A$36.70) for unlimited browsing – both in time and data – or can pay for access once on board with other plans sold at varying rates.

As Delta also codeshares on Virgin Australia’s own Sydney-LA flights, travellers seeking inflight WiFi can easily spot the Delta option when making their booking via the Delta website:On the map below, areas covered by Gogo satellites – the provider chosen by Delta – are coloured blue, with no coverage in the white zones:The installation of WiFi on Delta’s Boeing 777-200LRs serving Sydney completes the airline’s global rollout of international inflight Internet, which can now be found aboard every long-haul Delta flight, regardless of destination.
